We have to remind you that the HTC 10 owners from Europe, Thailand, Hong Kong and Canada have received the Android Nougat update last month, which indicates that Australians had to wait a bit longer for it.
We’re not sure why it took HTC so long to release the new update to its HTC 10 in Australia. There are rumors which say that the developers have found some bugs and other issues that made them delay the release.
We remind you that in Europe the update comes with the build number 2.41.666.3 and has 1.26GB in size, while in Thailand the build number is 2.41.709.3 and weighs in at 1.38GB. However, for the HTC 10 owners in Hong Kong, the Android Nougat update comes with the build number 2.41.708.3 and the size is 1.23GB.
We have to mention that HTC has also stopped the Nougat update for the HTC 10 devices in Mainland Europe because it has found some technical issues. However, the maker has resumed the update on February 7, 2017.
Before you start installing the update on your HTC 10 we suggest you to connect the device to a Wi-Fi network so that you don’t waste any mobile data. once the download is complete, you must also check your device’s battery and make sure that it has 50% or else it might shutdown during the updating process, which can brick your handset.
